POSITION TITLE: Account Executive for WGIR AM Network
DEPARTMENT: Sales
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*Sell advertising on radio's top rated talk shows to businesses in the Seacoast area.
*Identify opportunities to put the advertising power of WGIR/WGIN/WGIP to work for local businesses.
*Stay abreast of local and national politics and news
*Develop results based marketing strategies and promotional opportunities for clients.
*Reach quarterly and yearly billing goals set by station management.
*Effectively communicate goals and strategies with station management.
QUALIFICATIONS
*You need to have a minimum four year college degree.
*You need to have experienced success in sales.
*You must to love to sell, be results oriented and maintain high standards set by sales department in all interactions with client.
*You need to have an ability to get others to think your way.
*You must possess a high degree of self confidence.
*You need to have excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal/organizational skills.
*You must possess a natural positive attitude when communicating with your customers and staff.
*Radio experience a plus.
